Fountain Dodoma pre and primary school holds grade seven graduation ceremony.

The 2024 academic year is coming to an end. It is also the time of the year when grade 7 children are graduating to join secondary education as schools reopen for a new academic year in January. Across the country, parents are excited as their little children transition from primary to secondary school.

In partnership with parents and the community, Fountain Dodoma pre and primary school held a graduation ceremony today on 5th October 2024 for all its grade 7 graduates in Dodoma.

The grade 7 graduation marks a major milestone for children, as they move a step closer towards achieving their dreams in the future. It is the dream of every parent to provide what is best for their children in honing and developing their talents, skills and potentials – to become better citizens in the future.

Fountain Dodoma pre and primary school provides children with a life-changing education that gives them a strong foundation and the gateway to their future success. For well over a decade, they have partnered with the Tanzanian government and other education boards. The Motto is : Fountain of knowledge, Wisdom and Talent.

Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Hon. Nusrath Hanje, Member of Parliament for special seats in Singida, said the school believes that every child in Tanzania has the right to a high-quality education, and works in partnership with communities, teachers, and parents to deliver quality education for primary and pre-primary school children. She gave a wonderful speech and congratulated Fountain Dodoma pre and primary school for its academic performance as well as developing and nurturing talents.

She was particularly impressed with a sensational student by the name of Nagenjwa Frank, who has been nurtured at Fountain Dodoma to be an emcee. "Emcee" is short for "MC," which stands for "master of ceremonies." Nagenjwa Frank is a master of the ceremony serving as a central figure who guides the audience and helps keep the event on track. Fountain gate schools have 8 schools across the country so far. Spanning from Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Dodomo to Mwanza.

Fountain Gate schools Director Mr. Japhet Makau was present. He gave a wonderful speech of encouragement.

“I congratulate all the graduates on this most momentous day of their lives. At Fountain Gate Academy, we believe that children are our future, so we teach them well and let them lead the way. We show them all the beauty they possess inside, and give them a sense of pride to make it easier.” Said Mr. Japhet Makau.

At the graduation, the cooking Club stole the show with a delicious preparation of food which was tested and approved by Hon. Nusrath Hanje herself.

Mr. Shaban Kheri was the Master of the ceremony. The best that we have.

Parents were happy and expressed their filling by giving out gifts to teachers who are dedicated to the students and graduates.

Our students impressed with shows and songs, dances that made the environment spectacular. Tears of love were seen from our graduates after spending years at Fountain Dodoma primary.

One of our proud mothers of the graduate was grateful that the school had made her daughter a better child.

“True to the school’s commitment to providing quality education, I have seen my daughter’s growth, which was crucial for the first formative years of her life. From the delivery of school instructions, being cognizant of the child’s abilities; activities catered to promoting independence and self-reliance; values formation, to socialization among fellow young children.” Said a proud mother.
